Clearance: This position requires an active Secret Clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

We are recruiting a Senior SAP Consultant to join our team of talented consultants providing professional services (to include accounting, budgeting, cost analysis, systems analysis, manpower analysis, fiscal policy, program analysis, administrative support, audit readiness, and training) to the Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) G8.  The mission of the CECOM G8 is to provide optimal and responsive Resource Management solutions that support the integration and sustainment of C5ISR readiness for the Army.  The Senior SAP Consultant will provide support for the operation, administration, and maintenance of financial systems in locations worldwide and will establish resource management business processes in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (General Funds Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)) systems environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in studies and evaluations of Resource Management (RM) systems to determine operational acceptability and usability.  Contractor shall identify issues as they pertain to GFEBS system interfaces, (e.g., Access on Line (AXOL) to LMP/GFEBS; Procurement Automated Data and Document System (PADDS)/LMP/GFEBS; ATAAPS/GFEBS and other interfaces as identified during system sustainment activities).
  • Provide technical system support to all G8 divisions in the use of functional systems and automated tools and techniques to offer better reconciliation and analysis of financial data. This includes providing support with mapping required business processes with the ERP systems for sustainment and future system enhance releases.
  • Prepare and review system change requests and other necessary Automated Data Processing (ADP) functional documentation in support of system design and implementation. The SAP Consultant shall provide all analysis feedback on sustainment/release activities to the CECOM Systems Management Division Chief.  In coordination with the FSMD Project Lead the Contractor shall develop an implementation plan for all system change requests scheduled for deployment.
  • Create and automate a process that will provide the G8 the ability to track, analyze, and reconcile execution on Overhead accounts within GFEBS.
  • Recommend, develop and coordinate Business Intelligence reporting tools to better equip the G8 and CECOM command with information for more effective program execution. Utilize SharePoint to design and build collaboration on business processes and workflows to maintain efficiencies and audit compliance.

Qualifications

  • B.A. /B.S. Degree in a business field required. Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Management Information System desired.
  • 10 years of experience required (can be concurrent or non-concurrent) with:
    • DoD Financial Management/ERP systems integrations, as an SAP ERP analyst and consultant for Army Financial Systems,
    • implementation or upgrade of SAP ERP central component (SAP ECC) experience,
    • experience resolving complex LMP and GFEBS issues, with experience in design and implementation of LMP and GFEBS interfaces
    • expertise in SAP Tables and back-end components of Army systems.
